NEW SCOREBOARD UNVEILED AT OTTAWA HILLS
CLICK HERE TO VIEW VIDEOThe first electronic scoreboards are now lit up at the Ottawa Hills soccer field, Mickey Stanley Field (baseball), and Marti Beckering Field (softball).The Ottawa Hills Athletic Boosters partnered with Meijer and Consumers Credit Union to make possible the purchase and installation of three new scoreboards at Ottawa Hills High School.“Take a look around right now, this is what community looks like,” Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby said during the ribbon-cutting celebration. “Your investment tells our scholars that the hard work they put in on these fields truly matters.”“We are thrilled to gather this morning to celebrate partnerships that will have a lasting impact on our scholar-athletes,” said Ottawa Hills Principal Dr. Timothy Mabin.“Let's celebrate not just these three incredible scoreboards, but this momentous win for our students, for our schools, for our coaches and our community,” said Missy Jackson from the Ottawa Hills Athletic Boosters. “Ottawa Hil

CLICK HERE TO VIEW VIDEO A Grand Rapids landmark has been restored to glory, ready to be the home field of GRPS scholars for another century.“From the field to the track to the lights, this is the type of complex that our scholar-athletes deserve to compete in,” said Board of Education Trustee Sara Melton during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovated Houseman Field. “To our community: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. None of this would have been possible without your support.”The $5.1 million renovation was funded by the Reimagine GRPS with Us! bond, which was passed overwhelmingly by voters in 2023.“I am thrilled to share that our renovation of historic Houseman Field has finished on-time and within budget,” said Executive Director of Facilities and Operations Alex Smart.Ottawa Hills and Union will meet in the inaugural matches on the new pitch Thursday, Sept. 18. OHHS SCHOLAR-ATHLETES REGISTRATION THRU FINALFORMS
Effective Fall Season 2025, Ottawa Hills Athletic Department uses a data management system called FinalForms for all athletic forms. FinalForms saves student data from sport-to-sport and year-to-year, eliminating paperwork. Parents/athletes will need to register for an account to get started. After that, you will need to log in to update, verify and sign forms once per year, or as often as your information changes.Once the account is created, you will also get communication on all sports information (tryouts, workouts, summer conditioning, etc.):Parents create an account on FinalFormsIf you have an account, be sure to update all information neededSchedule a physical for your student (must be dated after 4/15/25)Upload the physical to their FinalForms AccountStudent-athlete information must be uploaded into FinalForms to be able to participate in fall sports. CoEd Varsity Bowling1/16/26: In a showdown of two top-rated programs, the Ottawa Hills High School boys bowling team rose to the challenge against Spring Lake High School, matching a highly competitive opponent frame for frame. Strong teamwork, focus, and clutch shots under pressure led to an impressive tie that proved Ottawa Hills belongs among the best in the OK White Conference. Despite falling short against a tough conference opponent in Spring Lake High School, the Ottawa Hills High School girls bowling team competed with energy and enthusiasm from start to finish. Their positive attitudes, constant encouragement, and determination in every frame showed resilience, teamwork, and pride, proving that effort and spirit matter just as much as the final score. 1/9/26: The Ottawa Hills High School boys bowling team delivered an exciting week, earning two key conference wins to remain on top of the standings. Congratulations to individual event winners Wyatt Jacques, Henri Kilpatrick, Izaiah Battle, Connor Geary, Julien Perakis, Tristin Stott, and Ewan Jacques. Relay event winners Hudson Chambers, Brennan Workman, Ewan Jacques, Tristin Stott, Quintin Lema, Ezra Nelson, Wyatt Jacques, Henri Kilpatrick, and Connor Geary. The team's next meet is Saturday at the Hastings Relay.
