Congratulations to the OHHS Men's Swim and Dive team on a great showing at the D2 State Meet at Eastern Michigan. Ryan Yon finished 31st in the 50 Free, Cristian Ramos finished 25th in diving, Wyatt Jacques finished 25th in the 500 Freestyle, the 200 Free relay finished 19th, and the 400 Free Relay of Matias Rizkalla, Amado Huner, Wyatt Jacques and Ryan Yon finished 14th and broke the OHHS School Record. Congratulations! 

Congratulations to the OHHS Boys Swim and Dive team on winning their 4th consecutive OK Rainbow Tier 2 Championship this weekend. The team went undefeated in dual meets as well as winning the Championship meet. Individual event champions were Amado Huner, Wyatt Jacques, and Dominik Lamberts. Relay event champions were the 400 Free Relay of Ryan Yon, Wyatt Jacques, Matias Rizkalla and Amado Huner. Individual event medalists were Elias Morgan, Tristin Stott, Matias Rizkalla, Caleb Oeverman, Ryan Yon, Wyatt Jacques, Drew Portinga, Cristian Ramos, JP Villa, and Reuben Oeverman. 

Divers Cristian Ramos and JP Villa qualified for Diving Regionals, which will be held at Jenison High School on Thursday 2/29. 

The relay team of Ryan Yon, Amado Huner, Matias Rizkalla and Wyatt Jacques qualified for the division 2 State Meet in both the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay. Ryan Yon qualified in the 50 Freestyle and Wyatt Jacques qualified in the 500 Freestyle.

Congratulations to the OHHS Boys swim and dive team who celebrated their senior night with a 125 - 50 win over the TK Middleville team. Thank you to our seniors Dominic Lamberts, Lucas Fridsma, Elias Morgan, Daniel Neri Campos, Caleb Oeverman, Eli Petersen, Drew Portinga, Matias Rizkalla and Ryan Yon. Thank you for your hard work and leadership! 

Individual event winners were Ryan Yon, Matias Rizkalla, Christian Ramos, Elias Morgan,  and Tristan Stott. Relay Event Winners were Reuben Oeverman, Caleb Oeverman, Dominick Lamberts, Drew Portinga, Lucas Fridsma, Elias Morgan, and Ryan Yon. 

On Saturday Amado Huner, Matias Rizkalla, Wyatt Jacques and Ryan Yon will be competing in the MISCA invitational at Calvin University. Good luck gentlemen! 

FEBRUARY 6 UPDATE:  Congratulations to the Ottawa Hills Boys Swim and dive team on their 2nd place finish at the Ottawa Hills Invitational on Saturday. Individual medalists were Elias Morgan, Amado Huner, Matias Rizkalla, Drew Portinga, Wyatt Jacques, Cristain Ramos, Tristin Stott and Ryan Yon. Relay Event Medalists were Wyatt Jacques, Ryan Yon, Matias Rizkalla, Amado Huner, Reuben Oeverman, Caleb Oeverman, Drew Portinga, and Elias Morgan. 

Special Congratulations to Wyatt Jacques who qualified for the D2 State Meet in the 500 Free, and the 200 Medley Relay of Ryan Yon, Wyatt Jacques, Matias Rizkalla, and Amado Huner which qualified for the MISCA Meet next weekend. Great job guys! 

The team's next meet is Thursday 2/8 at Ottawa at 6pm and we will be celebrating our seniors.
